So I stayed up extra long to work on a card I wanted to make for two different challenges again – one of which was „Freshly Made Sketches„. But oh no! I was too late (time differecne between „over there“ and here… who the heck knows what 12:00p PDT translates to in my times zone! 😉 ) Oh well – at least I can still ad m Card to the „Paper Players‘“ Challenge.

Hier der Sketch und die Paper Player Challenge:

Here are the challenges:

FMS Final 189-001  pp248

und hier mein Ergebnis:

and this is what I came up with:

Am See_Crazy For You

I used a couple of retired products, like the beautiful stampset „Moon Lake“ from the recent Spring-Catalog as well as the ribbon and button. To „make up“ for it I also used the brand new DP in Early Espresso – I think it’s beautiful!

Hope you liked what you saw – „masculine cards“ are always a bit tricky, I think 😉

  1. LOL! PDT is Pacific Daylight Time which is GMT minus 7! Love your monochromatic card! So glad you played along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. What a great monochromatic card! I love your combination of old and new. Thanks for joining in with my masculine challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

  3. Hey Judith, die Karte ist chic! Richtig edel!

  4. Thanks for the nice comments!

@ Jen: LOL – that is good to know – it would help me sooo much more if the times came with cities instead of „shortening“ like PDT or GMT (is that Germany?)- the only one I know is MDT since I have family in Utah 😉 Everything else is still a puzzle 😉

  5. Judith this card is so elegant and so well laid out. The splatter was perfect as a sketch element, and the circle behind the reeds helps them stand out. Thanks so much for sharing your masculine creation with us this week at The Paper Players!

  6. I love how you fussy cut the „Wetlands“ elements out!! What a lovely card with such beautiful details! Thanks for playing along with the challenge this week at The Paper Players!
