Teetassen…

Es gibt da so ein neues Stempelset im aktuellen Sommer-Minikatalog, dass ich mir dann doch noch zulegen musste. Es heißt „Eine Tasse Freundschaft“ und enthält diverse entzückende Teetassen. Die große habe ich dann auch gleich für ein kleines „Dankeschön“ für die Gäste des letzten Workshops verwendet:

There is a new stamp set in the summer mini catalog that I finally had to get. It’s called „Tea Shoppe“ and has a whole bunch of cute tea cups in it. I used the biggest one right away to create a littel „thank you“ treat for the customers of my last workshop: 

Als Farben habe ich „Baiblau“ und „Rosenrot“ verwendet und außerdem kam noch das Stempelset „Tiny Tags“ zum Einsatz.

I used „Baja Breeze“ and „Rose Red“ and I also used the stamp set „Tiny Tags“.

In der Teetasse steckt tatsächlich ein kleiner Teebeutel und auf der Rückseite ist noch eine Mini- Tafel Schokolade zum Genießen befestigt, (die habe ich aber nicht fotografiert- oops).

I really put a real little package of tea into the tea cup and added a tiny chocolate bar to the back to enjoy (but I didn’t take a picture of the back – oops).

Das ist jetzt schon wieder ein Weilchen her, mittlerweile hatte ich schon zwei weitere Workshops  und alle beide mit dem gleichen Thema (- irgendwie scheinen die Kartenboxen gut anzukommen 🙂 ) Die Projekte habe ich aber bei beiden Workshops etwas verändert, Farben variiert und auch neue Motive für die Karten hinzugefügt… aber das zeige ich Euch ein anderes Mal.

These „goodies“ have already been delivered a while ago and in the mean time I was invited to teach two more Workshops with the same project (- I guess people like my card box 🙂 ) I changed the colors around a little bit, used different card sketches and stamp sets in order to keep it interesting for myself as well… but I will show you more another time.

 

It’s a Baby Girl

Eine meiner Freundinnen hat ein gesundes kleines Mädchen zur Welt gebracht und beiden geht es gut. Ich habe sie im Krankenhaus besucht und die kleine Maus bestaunt, denn meine Jungs waren beide doch ziemlich groß bei der Geburt. Diese kleine Madame war nur 49cm klein – so entückend! Meine beiden Söhne waren auch schwer begeistert von dem Baby und können es jetzt noch weniger erwarten bis ihre Schwester endlich auf der Welt ist… durchhalten – nur noch ca. 7 Wochen!

A friend of mine gave birth to a healthy little girl and both are doing well. I visited her in the hospital and was amazed at the size of the little princess. My boys were both pretty big when they were born but this little baby was only 49cm small – soooo cute! Both of my sons were very excited to see her and are now even more anxious to meet their baby sister soon…. hang in there…. only about 7 more weeks!

Da das Baby doch ein paar Wochen zu früh kam, war ich noch nicht wirklich vorbereitet auf eine Babykarte und es musste etwas schneller gehn… Ich hoffe, sie hat sich trotzdem über etwas Selbstgemachtes und rosa Strampler gefreut 😉

Since the baby was a couple of weeks early I wasn’t really prepared for a baby card yet… so it was a fast one this time. But I hope she still liked the self made aspect of it in combination with pink sleepers 😉

Als Stempelsets dienten mir „Familienzuwachs“ und „Babyglück“ (in englisch). Die Farben sind „Kirschblüte“, „Savanne“ und „Flüsterweiß“. Das Band ist das Plissee-Satinband aus dem neuen Sommer-Mini Katalog.

I used „Little Additions“ and „Baby Prints“ as stamp sets. As colors I picked „Blushing Bride“, „Crumb Cake“ and „Whisper White“. The ribbon is from our new summer-mini catalog.
