Noch ’ne Weihnachtskarte ;)

Ich musste mal wieder ein bisschen mit den neuen Produkten herumspielen und sehen, was man noch so mit dem weihnachtlichen Vogel machen kann. Dabei ist die folgende Karte entstanden. Folgende Stempelsets kamen dabei zun Einsatz:

–  „Von uns zum Fest / Beautiful Season“ ( S. 22 neuer Katalog)

–  „Unterm Weihnachtsbaum/ Tags til Christmas“ (S. 24 neuer Katalog – ich nutze das Set in Englisch)

– „Confetti“ (S. 77 neuer Katalog und S. 60 alter Katalog)

 

I had to play with some of the new products again and wanted to see what else I could make with the little christmas bird. That’s how the following card happened 🙂 And here are the stamp sets I used:

– „Beautiful Season“

– „Tags til Christmas“

– „Confetti“

   

Ich habe wieder einmal olivfarbenen Farbkarton benutzt in Kombination mit Espresso… Ich liebe diese beiden Farben. Der Vogel ist mit dem Aquapainter und Stempelfarbe (Limone, Ozeanblau, Safran)  ausgemalt worden, der Zweig und die Beeren mit Stampin‘ Write Markern in Espresso, Oliv und Glutrot. Die Beeren habe ich dann noch einmal mit Crystal Effects hervorgehoben.

 

Yet another time I used old olive cardstock in combination with Early Espresso… I just love these two colors. The bird was colored in with Aquapainters and colors from the inkpads ( Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist, So Saffron), branch, leaves and berrys were colored in with stampin‘ write markers in Early Espresso, Old Olive and Real Red. I put a little „bling“ on the berrys by using Crystal Effects.

„Delicate Doilies“ -Sneak Peek

Also das neue Stempelset „Delicate Doilies“ hat es mir ja wirklich angetan und ich habe schon ziemlich viel damit herumgespielt. Ich zeige Euch heute mal drei sehr ähnliche Karten, alle mit fast den gleichen Elementen, aber doch ganz anders 😉

The new stamp set „Delicate Doilies“ really caught my fancy and I’ve been playing around with it quite a bit lately. Today I am going to show you three cards that are all pretty similar with identical emlements but still very diffrent 😉

 Hier habe ich das Stempelset auf Savanne bzw. Kirschblüte weiß embosst und mit dem Stempelset „Glaube Einfach“ kombiniert. Die neue Bordürenstanze passt einfach perfekt dazu, meint ihr nicht auch?

Here I used heat embossing on „crumb cake“ and „blushing bride“ and combined the stamp set with another stamp set called „Just Believe“. The new border punch is a perfect match, don’t you think?

 Hier habe ich ebenfalls mit weiß heißembosst, dieses Mal aber auf dem neuen Farbkarton „Blauregen“ und „Veilchen“ – die beiden In Colors passen super zusammen! Außerdem habe ich hier das Stempelset „Four Frames“ kombiniert.

Here I also heat embossed with white embossing powder but this time on cardstock with the new color called „Wisteria Wonder“ and  the old „Concord Crush“ – those two In Colors just match perfectly!  I chose the stamp set „Four Frames“ as combination.

Wieder „Blauregen“ und „Veilchen“, dieses Mal sind die „Delicate Doilies“ aber eben auch in diesen Farben auf „flüsterweißer“ TopNote gestempelt und mit Glitzersteinchen verziert. Die Bordürenstanze ist hier komplett sichtbar und mit einer weiteren Bordürenstanze kombiniert. Es kam wieder einer der „Four Frames“ zum Einsatz.

Again „Wisteria Wonder“ and „Concord Crush“ ,  bu this time I stamped with these colors on a „whisper white“ Top Note. I added little diamonds and here the border punch is completely visible and combined with another border punch. The stamp set „Four Frames“ was also used again.

 Ich bin, wie ihr merkt, sehr begeistert und freue mich schon darauf, Euch die Produkte ab Oktober live und in Farbe präsentieren zu können 😉

As you can probably tell I am very excited and am looking forward to showing you all products live and in action starting October 😉

„Von uns zum Fest“ – clean & simple

Heute habe ich mal eine Karte nach einem Sketch von „Clean & Simple“ gestaltet. Hier ist der Sketch:

Today I created a card using a sketch from „clean & simple“. This is their sketch:

Und hier ist meine Karte. Ich habe dieses Mal wieder eines der neuen Weihnachtsstempelsets genutzt, das „Von uns zum Fest“ heißt.

 And this is my creation. I again used one of the new stamp sets, called „Beautiful Season“.

Die Karte ist aus olivgrünem Farbkarton auf den ich ebenfalls in oliv die Zweige des Vogelstempels gestempelt habe um dem Karton wieder ein bisschen Struktur zu verleihen. Den Streifen „chilifarbenen“ Karton habe ich mit dem Prägefolder „Quadratisches Gitter“ durch die BigShot gejagt und mit „Espresso“ geinkt

The card is made with old olive cardstock and I stamped parts of the „bird on the branch“ in old olive on it to give it some texture. I ran the cherry cobbler cardstock through my BigShot for some embossing and then inked it with early espresso.

Die Meise ist mit StazOn Stempelfarbe auf Flüsterweiß gestempelt und mit dem Aquamaler und den Farben „Aquamarin“, „Ozeanblau“, „Limone“, „Safrangelb“, „Olivgrün“, „Espresso“ und „Glutrot“ coloriert. Ich habe ihn gleich zwei mal gestempelt, einen davon ganz vorsichtig ausgeschnitten und dann mit Stampin‘ Dimensionals auf den anderen geklebt, um einen „3-D-Effekt“ zu erzielen. 

 I stamped the bird with StazOn on whisper white cardstock and colored it with the Aquapainter and here are the colors I used: „Pool Party“, „Lucky Limeade“, „So Saffron“, „Old Olive“, „Early Espresso“ and „Real Red“. I stamped and colored it a second time, carefully cut it out and used Stampin‘ Dimensionals  to give it some „3-D-effect“.

Das Glöckchen hatte einmal ein goldener Schokohase um den Hals 😉

Forever Young…

…so heißt eines der Stempelsets im neuen Katalog, mit denen ich schon ein bisschen herumspielen konnte…. Gestern kam es in der Post und so mußte ich natürlich gleich ran 😉

Eigentlich dachte ich immer, dass ich nicht so ein wirklicher Vintage-Fan bin, aber… irgendwie entwickelte sich das ganze von ganz alleine. Ich hatte was ganz einfaches, klares geplant und hier seht ihr, was daraus geworden ist:

 ..that’s the name of one of the stampsets in the new catalogue that I was able to play with ahead of time.. I received it in the mail yesterday and couldn’t resist trying my hand on it right away 😉

I actually used to think, that I really didn’t have a mind for anything vintage, but…. somehow it developed into something „vintagy“ this time all by itsself. I had a very simple and clean sketch in mind and here you see what came out of it:

 Den Baum habe ich zuerst mit „Espresso“ auf Vanille Pur gestempelt, dann die Blätter mit dem Versamarker betupft und mit Goldpuder embosst. Die Karte selbst ist mit Savanne auf Olivgrün gestempelt, ebenfalls mit dem Stempelset „Forever Young“ und einem der „Tiny Tags“, um so mein ganz eigenes Designerpapier zu gestalten. Der Schriftzug ist aus dem letzten Sale-A-Bration Stempelset „Glück“. Alle Papiere sind mit Savanne geinkt. Innen habe ich die Ringbuchstanze mit einem Fetzen Vanille Pur Farbkarton benutzt, den ich mit den Zweigen des Baumes noch einmal in Savanne bestempelt habe. Natürlich wurde da auch heftig geknüllt und geinkt 😉 Hier ist noch einmal eine Nahaufnahme vom Baum, der so schön glänzt:

 The tree was first stamped with „early espresso“ on „very vanilla“ cardstock. I then used the Versamark pen to highlight the leaves with golden embossing powder. For the card itself I used „old olive“ cardstock and stamped the frames and sillouettes from the „Forever Young“ stamp set as well as one little stamp from the „Tiny Tags“ stamp set  in „crumb cake“ to created my very own designer paper. The sentiment is from the last sale-a-breation stamp set  called „bliss“. All papers were inked with „crumb cake“. For the inside part of the card I used the border punch on some „very vanilla“ scrap paper. I used the branches from the tree to stamp on the wrinkled scrap paper and of course inked everything up with „crumb cake“ again. Her is a close-up of the shimmering tree:

Schon lustig, wie sich die Kreativität manchmal ganz und gar verselbständig und schließlich etwas ganz anderes entsteht als man es ursprünglich geplant hatte 😉

 Funny how creativity sometimes takes it’s own course and the final results of a project end up so completely diffrent from what I originally had in mind 😉

Einschulung….

Es ist geschafft – wir haben die Einschulungsfeier hinter uns gebracht! Jetzt kann ich Euch auch endlich zeigen, woran ich die vielen Nächte gearbeitet habe 😉 Hier sind sie die beiden Schultüten – die goße natürlich für das Schulkind und die kleine für den Lütten, damit er auch was zum Freuen hat.

 Yay – we did it! The „Einschulung“ is finally over! Now I can show you, what I’ve been working on these past couple of weeks and nights 😉 Here are both „Schultüten“ – the big one, of course, was for my kindergardener and the small one for the little brother – to have something to enjoy as well.

 Bei beiden Tüten kamen sogar ein paar Produkte von Stampin’Up! zum Einsatz: Bei der großen habe ich den unteren Teil, aus dem das ganze Grünzeug kommt, mit der Ranke aus dem Stempelset „Barocke Motive“ bestempelt, der Tiger wurde mit der Stempelfarbe“Pfirsichparfait“ geinkt und der Schriftzug mit der Big Shot gestanzt. Bei der kleinen Tüte habe ich mal wieder das Stempelset „Fox and Friends“ benutzt, was meine Kinder einfach lieben, und die Farben „Zartblau“ (Wal), „Veilchen“ (Eule), „Safrangelb“ (Löwe), „Pfirsichparfait“ (Giraffe), „Farngrün“ (Schildkröte), „Espresso“ (Affe) und „Blutorange“ (Fuchs) genutzt. Die gleichen Farben kamen auch beim Papier zum Einsatz, das ich dann sowohl mit der Wellenkreisstanze als auch einer der kleinen Itty Bitty Stanzen ausgestanzt habe.

 I even used Stampin’Up! products on both of them: On the bigger one I used the background stamp from the stamp set „Baroque Motifs“, inked the tiger in „Peach Parfait“ and cut the letters with the Big Shot and the Junior Alpha. For the small „Schultüte“ I used the stamp set „Fox and Friends“ that both of my kids just dig on and used the colors „Bashful Blue“ (whale), „Concord Crush“ (owl), „So Saffron“ (lion), „Peach Parfait“ (giraffe), „Pear Pizzaz“ (turtle), „Early Espresso“ (monkey) and „Poppy Parade“ (fox).

 Die „Mini-Schultüte“ nocheinmal ein bisschen näher und bevor mein Kleiner sie in die Hände bekommen hat (jetzt sieht sie irgendwie ein bisschen geschunden aus!)…

Und hier ist mein Schulkind mit seiner Schultüte. „Mama, das ist die tollste Schultüte, die ich je hatte!“ – nicht dass er jemals irgendeine Schultüte besessen hätte, aber ich nehme es trotzdem als Kompliment und habe mich natürlich gefreut, dass er so begeistert war!  😉

 And finally my schoolboy with his „Schultüte“. „Mommy this is the best Schultüte I ever had!“ – well – he really didn’t have any other Schultüten until today, but I guess I can still call it a compliment and I was thirlled to see how much he liked what I made for him! 😉
