Mal was ganz besonderes…

… Ich habe eine tolle Falttechnik bei „Sandi & Friends“ entdeckt und mußte sie unbedingt für einen Workshop ausprobieren! Die Karte nennt man „Diamond Fold Card“ und ich finde sie unheimlich apart.

I found a great new folding technique at „Sandi & Friends“ and had to try it for a workshop! It’s called a „diamond fold card“ and I really thinks it’s special!

Außerdem haben es mir ja die neuen InColors angetan und so wollte ich alles vereinen: WEihnachten, untypische Weihnachtskarten und mal was ganz besonderes – das sind gleich 3 Dinge auf einmal, fast wie ein Ü-Ei 😉

Since I really fell in love with the new InColors I wanted to combine 3 things: Christmas and not so typical Christmas cards and something new and special…

Gesagt, getan – es wurde geschnippelt, und vorallem gefaltet, viel gestanz und gestempelt und sich mit der Ecken Bordürenstanze abgemüht, aber ich denke, die Mühen haben sich gelohnt – voilá!  – Da ist das Prachtstück:

So I started cutting and especially folding, punching and stamping and fighting with the corner punch but I think it was worth it – voilá! – this is the result:

Als Stempelsets habe ich die „Serene Snowflakes“ und den „Dasher“ verwendet. Der Dasher ist mit dem tollen silbernen Embossingpulver von Stampin‘ Up! heißembosst – einfach traumhaft!

I used the stamp sets „Serene Snowflakes“ and „Dasher“. For Dasher I used the silver embossing powder from Stampin‘ Up! – I love it!

Die Papiere sind entweder Petrol & Aquamarin oder Veilchen & Blauregen und dazu jeweils Flüsterweiß und der neue Farbkarton in Mattsilber. Für die Bänder habe ich die neuen InColor Bänder in Aquamarin und Blauregen benutzt und dann noch ein paar Glitzersteinchen dazu und das ganze ist fertig.

The papers are either Pool Party & Island Indigo or Concord Crush & Wisteria Wonder and then adding Whisper White and Silver. I also used the new beautiful InColor ribbons in Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder added a few rhinestones and that was it.

 So schaut die Karte von hinten aus. Hier kann man dann tatsächlich auch etwas Persönliches schreiben… Ich habe noch den weihnachtlichen Gruß aus dem Stempelset „Moderne Weihnachten“ genutzt.

 This is what the card looks from the back. Here is where you can write your personal greeting… I used the greeting from the stamp set „Contempo Christmas“.

 

…und weil’s so schön ist kommt hier noch einmal der leuchtende Dasher aus der Nähe 😉

…and since I can’t get enough here is Dasher again – sparkly and bright 😉

 

Ich glaube, die Karte ist bei meinen Workshopgästen gut angekommen und ich werde mit dieser Falttechnik sicher noch ein wenig mehr herumspielen!

I think my guests all enjoyed making this card and I will definitely play a little more with the diamond fold technique!

Außerdem habe ich meinen Gästen versprochen, hier noch einmal eine detaillierte Anleitung zu posten und ich verspreche, dass ich das in den nächsten Tagen auch tun werde!  Bitte habt ein bisschen Geduld mit mir! 🙂

Moderne Weihnachten…

Heute habe ich mal nicht die typischen Weihnachtsfarben für meine Karte benutzt, sondern habe mich von der neuen „In(k)spire_Me“ Challenge inspirieren lassen. Meine zweite Inspiration kam dann durch die aktuelle „Clean & Simple“ Challenge und ich habe versucht, beide zu kombinieren.

Today I didn’t use the typical „Christmas colors“ but let myself be inspired by the new „In(k)spire_Me“ challenge. My second inspiration came by looking at the new „Clean & Simple“ challenge – so I tried to combine the two.

Die neuen In Colors sind doch einfach nur wunderschön, oder?

Ich habe das Stempelset „Tree Trimmings“ und die Ranke aus „Barocke Motive“ genutzt, sowie für den Gruß das Stempelset „Moderne Weihnachten“. Die Ranke ist mit dem Versamark-Stempelkissen gestempelt und dann beglittert worden. Auch die Ornamente habe ich schön beglitzert – mein Wohnzimmertisch glitzert jetzt auch ganz hübsch 😉

The new In Colors are just beautiful, don’t you think?

I used „Tree Trimmings“ and the vine from „Baroque Motifs“, as well as the sentiment from „Contempo Christmas“. The vine was stamped with Versa Mark and then I put glitter all over it. The ornaments are also very shiny with glitter – you can’t even imagine how pretty my dining room table looks with all the glitter 😉

Clean and Simple Christmas

Heute habe ich mal wieder zwei Karten gemacht für zwei verschiedene Challenges. Einmal bei „The Paper Players“ und zum anderen bei „Clean & Simple„.

Today I made two cards for two diffrent challenges: „The Paper Players“ and „Clean & Simple“.

Jetzt zeige ich Euch, was mir dazu eingefallen ist. Beide Kartenhaben die vorgegebenen Farben und sind nach dem gleichen Sketch gewerkelt.

Ich musste mal wieder ein bisschen mit den neuen Produkten herumspielen und sehen, was man noch so mit dem weihnachtlichen Vogel machen kann. Dabei ist die folgende Karte entstanden. Folgende Stempelsets kamen dabei zun Einsatz:

–  „Von uns zum Fest / Beautiful Season“ ( S. 22 neuer Katalog)

–  „Unterm Weihnachtsbaum/ Tags til Christmas“ (S. 24 neuer Katalog – ich nutze das Set in Englisch)

– „Confetti“ (S. 77 neuer Katalog und S. 60 alter Katalog)

 

I had to play with some of the new products again and wanted to see what else I could make with the little christmas bird. That’s how the following card happened 🙂 And here are the stamp sets I used:

– „Beautiful Season“

– „Tags til Christmas“

– „Confetti“

   

Ich habe wieder einmal olivfarbenen Farbkarton benutzt in Kombination mit Espresso… Ich liebe diese beiden Farben. Der Vogel ist mit dem Aquapainter und Stempelfarbe (Limone, Ozeanblau, Safran)  ausgemalt worden, der Zweig und die Beeren mit Stampin‘ Write Markern in Espresso, Oliv und Glutrot. Die Beeren habe ich dann noch einmal mit Crystal Effects hervorgehoben.

 

Yet another time I used old olive cardstock in combination with Early Espresso… I just love these two colors. The bird was colored in with Aquapainters and colors from the inkpads ( Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist, So Saffron), branch, leaves and berrys were colored in with stampin‘ write markers in Early Espresso, Old Olive and Real Red. I put a little „bling“ on the berrys by using Crystal Effects.
