Hier ist meins… / This is mine…

Ihr habt es wahrscheinlich schon auf 100 anderen Blogs gesehen, aber ich konnte nicht widerstehen und musste auch eins machen – das wunderschöne Ornament, das ihr auf dem Cover des SU Herbst-/ Winterkatalogs sehen könnt. Ich finde es einfach atemberaubend schön und das „Ornament Keepsakes Produktpaket“ war gleich ganz oben auf meiner Wunschliste. Gebastelt habe ich es schon im September, aber da ich im Moment viel zu wenig Zeit habe, um regelmäßig zu bloggen, musstet Ihr bis heute warten, um es zu Gesicht zu bekommen 😉 .

You have probably seen it on at least 100 other blogs but I just couldn’t resist and had to make my own –  I’m talking about the beautiful ornamet on the cover of our SU- Holiday Catalog. I just think it is gorgeous and the „Ornament Keepsakes Product Package“ was on the top of my wish list right away. I made my ornament in September but since my time seems to be running way too fast to  keep blogging regularly you had to wait until today to see it 😉 .

Als ich meine Version des Ornaments gemacht habe, habe ich die Produkte benutzt, die ich zur Verfügung hatte und habe also in der Mitte etwas experimentiert. Aber mir gefällt, was dabei herausgekommen ist – was denkt ihr?

When I tried my version of the ornament I used he products I had at hand and got a little creative when it came to the middle of the ornament. But I like what I came up with – what do you think?

Folgende Produkte kamen zum Einsatz:

  • 129950 Produktpaket Ornament Keepsakes (Stempelset & Framelits) – (Bestellnr. hier für die clear Stempel)
  • 106549 Farbkarton Vanille Pur
  • 127813 BigZ Form Schneeflocken (kleinste Schneeflocke)
  • 127841 Tüllband mit Wellenkante in Chili
  • 126966 Stempelkissen Chili
  • 126861 Stempelkissen Apfelgrün
  • 104199 Leinenfaden
  • 119246 Basic Strassschmuck
  • 127853 Bastelunterlage aus Silikon – die müsst Ihr nicht unbedingt haben, aber gerade für dieses Projekt ist sie wirklich eine tolle Hilfe, weil Ihr mit Heißkleber handtiert.

außerdem braucht ihr also eine Heißklebepistole und entsprechenden Heißkleber. Es gibt ein tolles Anleitungsvideo zum mitbasteln bei der Stempelwiese – ein aufgezeichneter Live-Stream. Ihr könnt Euch da einfach Eure Bastelsachen zurecht legen und Schritt für Schritt Steffi’s Anleitungen folgen. Viel Spaß dabei!

 

 

 

Geburtsanzeige / Baby Announcement

Heute wollte ich Euch die Geburtsanzeige vorführen, die ich für unsere kleine Atira gebastelt habe, leider aber bisher nur 10 Exemplare. 🙁 Zum einen, weil sie doch aufwendiger zu werkeln ist, als erwartet, zum anderen aber, weil meine Nächte seit ein paar Wochen irgendwie kürzer geworden zu sein scheinen.

Today I wanted to show you the baby announcements I made for our sweet little Atira, but I have to admit only 10 so far. 🙁 One reason for that is that they turned out way more elaborate than I expected and also because my nights seem to have gotten somewhat shorter in these past few weeks.

Die Idee für diese Kartentechnik habe ich von Dawn, einer amerikanischen SU-Demonstratorin, die ganz viele tollen Video-Tutorials auf ihrem Blog anbietet. Schaut doch mal bei ihr vorbei und lasst Euch inspirieren.

Atira Judith Oveson – der entzückende Grund, warum ihr in den letzten Monaten so wenig von mir habt lesen können und mein dritter „Grund zum Lächeln“.

Sie ist am 24. Juli 2012 geboren und hat seit dem meine Nächte, die ich sonst meist der „Kreativität“ gewidmet habe, völlig in Beschlag genommen 🙂

She war born July 24th, 2012 and totally occupied my nights that I used to devote to „being creative“ 🙂

Teetassen…

Es gibt da so ein neues Stempelset im aktuellen Sommer-Minikatalog, dass ich mir dann doch noch zulegen musste. Es heißt „Eine Tasse Freundschaft“ und enthält diverse entzückende Teetassen. Die große habe ich dann auch gleich für ein kleines „Dankeschön“ für die Gäste des letzten Workshops verwendet:

There is a new stamp set in the summer mini catalog that I finally had to get. It’s called „Tea Shoppe“ and has a whole bunch of cute tea cups in it. I used the biggest one right away to create a littel „thank you“ treat for the customers of my last workshop: 

Als Farben habe ich „Baiblau“ und „Rosenrot“ verwendet und außerdem kam noch das Stempelset „Tiny Tags“ zum Einsatz.

I used „Baja Breeze“ and „Rose Red“ and I also used the stamp set „Tiny Tags“.

In der Teetasse steckt tatsächlich ein kleiner Teebeutel und auf der Rückseite ist noch eine Mini- Tafel Schokolade zum Genießen befestigt, (die habe ich aber nicht fotografiert- oops).

I really put a real little package of tea into the tea cup and added a tiny chocolate bar to the back to enjoy (but I didn’t take a picture of the back – oops).

Das ist jetzt schon wieder ein Weilchen her, mittlerweile hatte ich schon zwei weitere Workshops  und alle beide mit dem gleichen Thema (- irgendwie scheinen die Kartenboxen gut anzukommen 🙂 ) Die Projekte habe ich aber bei beiden Workshops etwas verändert, Farben variiert und auch neue Motive für die Karten hinzugefügt… aber das zeige ich Euch ein anderes Mal.

These „goodies“ have already been delivered a while ago and in the mean time I was invited to teach two more Workshops with the same project (- I guess people like my card box 🙂 ) I changed the colors around a little bit, used different card sketches and stamp sets in order to keep it interesting for myself as well… but I will show you more another time.

 

It’s a Baby Girl

Eine meiner Freundinnen hat ein gesundes kleines Mädchen zur Welt gebracht und beiden geht es gut. Ich habe sie im Krankenhaus besucht und die kleine Maus bestaunt, denn meine Jungs waren beide doch ziemlich groß bei der Geburt. Diese kleine Madame war nur 49cm klein – so entückend! Meine beiden Söhne waren auch schwer begeistert von dem Baby und können es jetzt noch weniger erwarten bis ihre Schwester endlich auf der Welt ist… durchhalten – nur noch ca. 7 Wochen!

A friend of mine gave birth to a healthy little girl and both are doing well. I visited her in the hospital and was amazed at the size of the little princess. My boys were both pretty big when they were born but this little baby was only 49cm small – soooo cute! Both of my sons were very excited to see her and are now even more anxious to meet their baby sister soon…. hang in there…. only about 7 more weeks!

Da das Baby doch ein paar Wochen zu früh kam, war ich noch nicht wirklich vorbereitet auf eine Babykarte und es musste etwas schneller gehn… Ich hoffe, sie hat sich trotzdem über etwas Selbstgemachtes und rosa Strampler gefreut 😉

Since the baby was a couple of weeks early I wasn’t really prepared for a baby card yet… so it was a fast one this time. But I hope she still liked the self made aspect of it in combination with pink sleepers 😉

Als Stempelsets dienten mir „Familienzuwachs“ und „Babyglück“ (in englisch). Die Farben sind „Kirschblüte“, „Savanne“ und „Flüsterweiß“. Das Band ist das Plissee-Satinband aus dem neuen Sommer-Mini Katalog.

I used „Little Additions“ and „Baby Prints“ as stamp sets. As colors I picked „Blushing Bride“, „Crumb Cake“ and „Whisper White“. The ribbon is from our new summer-mini catalog.
