Heute sind also Nadine und ich an der Reihe, Euch weihnachtlich einzustimmen – mal sehen, ob uns das gelingt 😉

Today Nadine and I will try to let you feel the „Christmas Spirit“ – let’s see if we can get you there! 😉

Hier mein kleiner Beitrag dazu – tadaa!:

Here is my humble part in it – ta da!:

Ja – „nur“ ein Sour Cream Container … UND… das „Etwas“ da drunter…

Yes – „only“ a good old sour cream container… AND … the „Thing“ underneath…

Und wenn man dieses Etwas aufstellt und außeinander fallen lässt, dann:

And if you open that „Thing“ and put it upright, then….

Hier passt wohl dann eher das „Tadaa!“ 😉

Auf der Rückseite dieser „Card-In-A-Box“ ist dann noch genügend Platz, einen kleinen persönlichen Weihnachtsgruß anzufügen.

I guess that’s were I should have added the „ta da!“ 😉

On the back of this „Card in a Box“ there is enough room to add your own personal message.

Obwohl ich in diesem Jahr viele meiner Weihnachtskarten in Naturtönen gehalten habe, liebe ich immer noch die „traditionelle“ Farbkombination rot-grün bzw. hier „Chili“ und „Gartengrün“ und ich finde das Designerpapier gibt der ganzen Winterszene so ein warmes, wohliges Winter-Weihnachtspulli-Gefühl – Ihr wisst schon, was ich meine, oder? 😉

Although I stuck to neutral colors with most of my Christmas cards this year, I still love the „traditional“ color combination red-green, well or as you can say here „Cherry Cobbler“ and „Garden Green“ and I think the designer paper adds a warm fuzzy Winter-Christmas-Sweater-Feeling (gotta love my words!) to the whole scene, don’t you think? 😉

Da die Karte erst vorgestern entstanden ist, habe ich noch keine Anleitung mit den Maßen für Euch, aber ich verspreche, dass ich diese nachreichen werde!

Since I made my card only two days ago I did not get to making a pdf-file with the measurements yet but I promise I will!

Weil heute Nikolaus ist, hab ich mal wieder etwas mehr von mir als „nur“ den Adventskalender (obwohl der natürlich auch dabei ist 😉 )

Für den Gruß habe ich das Stempelset „Kleine Wünsche“ verwendet, für das es aber leider im Shop kein Bild gibt.

I used the stampset „Teeny Tiny Sentiments“ for the greeting , but unfortunately there is no photo of it in the shop.

Ein „Schüttel-Stern“

Heute zeige ich Euch mal meine erste Schüttelkarte und die erste Weihnachtskarte, die ich in diesem Jahr gebastelt habe.

Today I am going to show you my first shaker card and the first Christmas card I made this year.

Bis auf den Gruß wurde da nichts gestempelt, sondern nur gestanzt und geklebt – schlicht und durch das Glitzerpapier dennoch edel, oder?

With the exception of the greeting I didn’t use any stamps just punches and glue – clean and simple but still fancy, don’t you think?

Ich hätte im Nachhinein vielleicht doch noch den Hintergrund ein wenig embossen oder statt VanillePur den cremeweißen Cardstock, der etwas gesprenkelt ist, benutzen sollen, aber so geht es auch, denke ich.

Looking at it a couple of days later I might have preferred embossing the background a bit or should have used a creme cardstock instead of VeryVanilla since it is not as plain, maybe?!

Männergeburtstage 1. Teil

Ich finde es immer schwer, für Männer Karten zu machen – aber das geht ja wohl vielen so. Irgendwie haben in meinem Bekanntenkreis ’ne ganze Menge Männer im November Geburtstag und da die auch noch teilweise miteinander verwandt sind, konnte/ wollte ich nicht eine Idee mehrmals nutzen. Also war es Zeit, mal wieder meine Grenzen auszutesten – 😉 Heute die erste Karte und morgen dann die nächste – mal sehen, welche Euch besser gefällt!

I always find it hard to make cards for men – but I guess I am not alone there. I have a couple of male friends who were born in November and since they are even related to one another I couldn’t go into mass production with one idea I finally liked but had to come up with more 😉 Time to challenge myself! Today I am going to show you one of two cards and hopefully tomorrow the next one – let’s see which one you like better!
