Mein erster Workshop nach Baby-Pause (2.Teil)

Heute zeige ich Euch nun mein Halloween-Projekt für den letzten Workshop: Eine Double-Slider Schokoladenverpackung.Die Idee habe ich Euch ja schon einmal zum Muttertag gezeigt mit einem Link zu einer Video-Anleitung. In Verbindung mit dem neuen Stempelset „Googly Ghouls“ eignet sich diese Art Verpackung besonders gut für Halloween. Warum? Seht selbst:

Today I’ll show you my second project for last weeks workshop: A double slider chocolate wrapper. I already showed you one for Mother’s Day including a link to a video tutorial. And with the new stamp set „Googly Ghouls“ this kind of chocolate wrapper is just perfect for Halloween. Why? Let me show you:

Das ist der „erste Eindruck“ einer ganz „normalen“ Schokoladenverpackung. Aber zieht man an der Lasche „Grusel Grüße“, dann….

So here is your „first impression“ of a pretty „normal“ chocolate wrapper. But once you pull on the tag with the lable „Treats for Boo“ , then…

„Boo!“ 🙂 Ich bin ja eigentlich nicht so ein Halloween-Fan und hatte eigentlich nicht vor, damit anzufangen, aber dieses Stempelset ist einfach zu niedlich!

„Boo!“ 🙂 I really never cared for Halloween and had no intention of starting to create anything for it – but – this stamp set is just way too cute!

Und dann noch die Wackelaugen, die Stampin‘ Up! jetzt im Herbst-Winterkatalog hat – für nur 2,95€! Da konnte ich nicht widerstehen 😉

Ich habe Euch eine Liste mit allen Materialien und den dazugehörigen Bestellnummern angefügt. Der Mechanismus läßt sich natürlich beliebig auf alle möglichen Farben, Motive usw. übertragen. Ich hoffe, meine Anweisungen machen Sinn – solltet Ihr Fragen habe, dann meldet Euch und ich werde versuchen, alle Unklarheiten zu beseitigen 🙂

I created a written tutorial again with a list of all materials needed. (only in German though!) Feel free to use the card mechanism with all sorts of CS, DP or stamp sets. I hope my instructions make sense – if you have any questions feel free to contact me and I will try to clear up any confusion. 😉

Mein erster Workshop nach Baby-Pause (1.Teil)

…war am vergangenen Freitagabend und es ist doch erstaunlich gut gegangen. Das verdanke ich vorallem dem Ehemann der Gastgeberin, der spontan dafür gesorgt hat, dass meine winzige Bastelmaus ausreichend bespaßt wurde. Danke Antonio –  Du bist ein großartiger Babysitter!

This past Friday was my first workshop after a short „baby break“. It went pretty well – special thanks goes to the dear husband of the hostess who jumped in and made sure my little stamping queen was kept entertained and happy  – Thanks Antonio – you were a great babysitter!

Gewünscht war das Thema „Verpackungen“ für kleine Geschenke – gerade auch in Vorbereitung auf Halloween und Weihnachten.

The theme was crafted treat holders – especially in preparation for Halloween and Christmas.

Heute zeige ich Euch ersteinmal das kleine Weihnachtsgeschenk – eine Verpackung für heiße Schokolade. (Cappuccino usw. gehen natürlich auch 😉 ):

So today I am going to show you our first project – a little cocoa holder (I guess it would work for cappuccino as well 😉 ):

Die Idee für diese´s Projekt habe ich von einer amerikanischen Demokollegin, Dawn Olchefske – Sie hat auch ein Video-Tutorial dazu gemacht (natürlich in Englisch) und ich habe mich hingesetzt und versucht, Euch die Anleitung aufzuschreiben, damit Ihr etwas zum abheften und behalten habt – In Verbindung mit Dawn’s Video werden meine Anweisungen vielleicht sogar verständlich 😉 Außerdem findet Ihr in der PDF-Datei eine genaue Auflistung aller benötigten Materialien mit Bestellnummer.

I found the idea for this cool little treat pouch on Dawn Olchefske’s blog. She is a fellow Stampin’Up! Demonstrator and made a video tutorial for you to follow. Since it is in English I tried to translate it into German for those who might find it hard to follow the English instructions – I guess watching the video will still help to make sense of what I wrote 😉 The PDF-File also includes a list of all materials needed. (all in German, of course)

Geburtsanzeige / Baby Announcement

Heute wollte ich Euch die Geburtsanzeige vorführen, die ich für unsere kleine Atira gebastelt habe, leider aber bisher nur 10 Exemplare. 🙁 Zum einen, weil sie doch aufwendiger zu werkeln ist, als erwartet, zum anderen aber, weil meine Nächte seit ein paar Wochen irgendwie kürzer geworden zu sein scheinen.

Today I wanted to show you the baby announcements I made for our sweet little Atira, but I have to admit only 10 so far. 🙁 One reason for that is that they turned out way more elaborate than I expected and also because my nights seem to have gotten somewhat shorter in these past few weeks.

Zum Prägen der Knöpfe habe ich ausnahmsweise mal einen SU-fremden Prägefolder benutzt…

For embossing the buttons I used a non-SU embossing folder as an exception…

Die Idee für diese Kartentechnik habe ich von Dawn, einer amerikanischen SU-Demonstratorin, die ganz viele tollen Video-Tutorials auf ihrem Blog anbietet. Schaut doch mal bei ihr vorbei und lasst Euch inspirieren.

Natürlich gab es auch Goodies…

…und die möchte ich Euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten. 🙂 Passend zur Kartenbox und als Vorgeschmack erhielt jeder Gast eine kleine Überraschung, einen sogenannten Goodie von mir…

Of course there were little treats (we call them „goodies“) for all of the workshop guests and of course I will share them with you 🙂

Es tut mir leid, dass das Ganze nicht wirklich scharf ist, aber ich denke, man kann das Wesentliche erkennen 😉 Wieder einmal kam das Spitzenband zum Einsatzm, aber ansonsten haben ich für den Goodie  2x die Two Tag Stanze benutzt und die Tags unten gefalzt und miteinander verbunde, so dass ich unten auf den Boden ein Ferrero Rocher kleben konnte. Mit der 1 3/8 Kreisstanze habe ich dann zwei Kreise ausgestanzt und diese mit dem Blumenmotiv aus dem Stempelset „Fürs Medallion“ und den SU Markern bestempelt. Der Spruch ist aus einem meiner Lieblingssets „Perfekte Pärchen“. Die Rückseite und Vorderseite sind identisch.

I am sorry that the picture is somewhat blurry but I think you can see enough 😉  Again I used the new lace punch, the Big Diez „Two Tags“  and stampset called „Charming“ from the former SU Spring Mini Catalog. I punched out 2 of the two tags and scored them at the bottom so they could hold a Ferrero Roche if you glued them together! With the 1 3/8 Circle punch I made two circles and used the stampset „Charming“ from the old Spring Minicatalog together wit the SU Markers to create a flowery frame. The greeting translates into „Nice that you are here“ and is from the „Perfect Pairs“ stamp set. The backside looks identical to the front.

Wieder ein toller Workshop…

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich hatte mich mal kurz wieder etwas rar gemacht, denn es gab einfach viel zu viel zu tun. Aber zum Glück habe ich ja immer mal wieder ein paar Workshops zu gestalten, so dass ich das Basteln nicht ganz vergessen kann und dadurch die Chance bekomme, nicht in der vielen Arbeit verloren zu gehen 😉

I was a little „gone“  since there was way too much to do around here. But luckily I keep having workshops to prepare so I can’t completety ignore my creative urges 😉

Gestern war wieder mal eine tolle Gelegenheit, mich kreativ auszutoben. Ein Workshop mit 6 ganz tollen Frauen und ich glaube, wir hatten alle viel Spaß zusammen.

Yesterday I had the chance for a creative outburst  – I held a workshop with 6 wonderful women and I think we all enjoyed our time together.

Und hier sehr ihr, was wir gemeinsam in weniger als 3 Stunden gezaubert haben:

Nur so eine läppische Box? fragt Ihr Euch sicher.

Just a boring box? you might ask.

Ja, nur eine läppische Kartenbox (für 8×8 Karten!) – dafür aber mit Inhalt! Hier zeig ich Euch, was noch alles dazu gehörte:

Wir haben passend zu der Box noch 4 Karten mit passenden Umschlägen dazu gebastelt – das wurde dann doch alles etwas knapp mit der Zeit, aber wir haben’s geschafft. Hurra!

We made 4 different cards with matching envelopes. Time was ticking bur we actually made it before everybody had to leave – hooray!

Hier noch einmal detaillierte Fotos von den einzelnen Karten. Ich hatte mir vorgenommen, mit jeder Karte eine neue Technik, bzw. neue Materialien vorzustellen, also zeig ich Euch mal was ich da so habe:

Here are some more close up pictures from the different cards. I wanted to use each card to show some special techniques and/ or new material my friends would maybe be interested in. So now I will show you what I came up with:

Die erste Karte wurde mit dem Stempelset „Nostalgisch gerahmt“  und den dazu passenden „Framelits Formen“ gestaltet. Das Motiv haben wir mir den Markern ausgemalt.

The first card was made with the stampset „Apothecary Art“ and the new „Framelits Labels Collection“. We colored the image with SU markers.

Bei der zweiten Karte haben wir das Motiv auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und dann mit den Markern und dem Aquapainter ausgemalt. Als Stempelsets habe ich „Ein Duftendes Dutzend“ (für den Gruß) und „Bordering on Romance“ für das Blumenmotiv gewählt. Die Blüten lassen sich einfach so wunderbar colorieren. Der Hintergrund wurde mit dem Color-Spritzer ein bisschen aufgehübscht.

For the second card we stamped the image on water color paper and colored it with the SU Markers and the „Aquapainter“. We used the flowers from the „Bordering on Romance“ stamp set since they are just great for water coloring and the greeting is from the „Delightful Dozen“ stamp set. The background was enhanced by using the spraying tool for markers (no clue what the English name is – feel free to help me learn!)

Die Idee für die dritte Karte habe ich von einer anderen SU Kollegin gemopst, aber ich habe keine Ahnung mehr von wem. (Also wieder einmal der Aufruf: Melde Dich, wenn du weißt, wer mich inspiriert hat bzw. natürlich vor allem, wenn die Idee von Dir stammt, damit ich Dich erwähnen und verlinken kann!)

The idea for card no. 3 I got from one of my fellow SU demonstrators but I have no clue who it was. (So once again: Please contact me, if you know who might have inspired me or even better if you were the one with the original idea. Then I can name you and put a link to your blog in here!)

Ich liebe die neuen Kordeln mit den verschiedenen In-Colors und bei dieser Karte kommen sie einfach toll zur Geltung!

I love the new In-Color Baker’s Twine and this card showcases it so well.

 

Und zum Abschluß habe wir sogar noch eine „Spitzen Karte“ geschafft. Hierfür haben wir die Stanzen „Spitzenband“, „Wellenkante“ und „Spitzenbordüre“ genutzt und natürlich auch das „Kleine Herz“. Der Spruch stammt wieder aus dem Stempelset „Nostalgisch gerahmt“.

And finally we created a „Lace Card“. We used different Border punches to create the lacy effect as well as the small heart punch. The phrase is from the „Apothecary Art“ stamp set again.
