Workshop Projekt

Heute hatte ich mal wieder einen Workshop – dieses Mal bei einer lieben Freundin. Irgendwie bin ich trotzdem jedesmal etwas aufgeregt und gespannt, wie die Projekte, die ich mir aussuche bei den Leuten ankommen. Aber alles ist gut gelaufen und ich glaube alle hatten viel Spaß und Freude am gemeinsamen Basteln.

Today I held another workshop – this time at a dear friend’s of mine. Somehow I’m always a little nervous and at the same time excited before teaching a workshop, wondering whether the projects I pick will find everybody’s liking. But everything went well and I thing everybody had fun and enjoyed crafting together.

Das ist es ja auch, was ich an meiner Demonstrator-Tätigkeit so liebe: Zu Teilen was ich liebe und andere mit meiner Bastel- und Stempelbegeisterung anzustecken.

… Geburtstagskarten zu machen, zeig ich Euch gleich noch eine weitere. Die Idee habe ich von irgend einer anderen SU-Demonstratorin gemopst, aber leider hatte die ihren Namen nicht auf dem Foto, so dass ich nicht mehr weiß, von wem die Inspiration stammt. Wenn jemand von Euch weiß wer es war, dann lasst es mich bitte wissen, damit ich ihren Blog linken kann!

Since we already started looking at Birthday Cards let me show you one more. I received inspiration from a fellow SU-Demonstrator but she didn’t put a name on her picture so I forgot where I found it. If you know who came up with the original idea please let me know so I can link her blog!

Ich habe für die Briefmarken das SAB-Stempelset „Fresh Vintage“ benutzt – eines meiner derzeitigen Lieblingssets. Der Gruß kommt aus dem Gastgeberinnen Set „Alles Gute zum Geburtstag“. Eines meiner neuen Spielzeuge ist der Color-Spritzer, den ich hier das erste Mal benutzt habe – ich brauche noch etwas Übung, aber ich mag die Effekte, die man damit erzielen kann.

For the postage stamps I used the SAB-Stampset „Fresh Vintage“ – one of my favorites at the moment. The greeting is from our hostess set „Happiest Birthday Wishes“. It was the first time I got to use my new toy – the „Color Sprayer“ (is that what you call it in English? No clue, really). I still need some practice but I love the effects you can create with it.

Die Karte hat übrigens meine Tante zum Geburtstag bekommen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch auch noch einmal hier, liebe Tante Bärbel!

My aunt received this card for her birthday. Happy Birthday again, my dear Tante Bärbel!

Geburtstagskarten kann man immer gebrauchen…

…also kommt hier wieder eine. Dieses Mal habe ich das SAB-Stempelset „Fresh Vintage“ benutzt und das dazu passende SAB-Designer Papier „Retro Impressions“. Since you can always use a Birthday Card here comes another one. This time I used the SAB stamp set „Fresh Vintage“ and the SAB-DP that goes with it. Both are only available for another two weeks – for free if you place an order of 60€ or more – isn‘ t that great?! Außerdem kam das Gastgeberinnen Stempelset „Alles Gute zum Geburtstag“ zum Einsatz, die Klammern in Antikoptik und das schöne „Victoria Häkelbordüre“ -Band. Für die Blume habe ich acht 1″ Kreise benutzt…

I also used the hostess stampset „Happiest Birthday Wishes“, the antique brads and the beautiful „victoria“ crochet ribbon. For the flower I used eight 1″ circles…

Für das Karteninnere habe ich einen der Grüße aus dem Stempelset „Ein Duftendes Dutzend“ benutzt und den wunderschönen Stempel aus dem SAB-Set mit den Markern coloriert.

For the inside I used one of the greetings from the stampset „Delightful Dozen“ and I used the „Marvelous Markers“ to color the floral stamp from the SAB-stamp set.

Diese Karte wird am Samstag eine liebe Freundin von mir erhalten und ich hoffe, sie freut sich darüber.

On sunday one of my dear friends will receive this card for her birthday and I hope she will enjoy it.

Geburtstagskarte für einen Mann…

…. genauer gesagt für meinen Vater, der in der vergangenen Woche seinen 71. Geburtstag gefeiert hat. Das ist doch jedes Jahr von Neuem wieder schwierig, die passende Karte zu werkeln. Irgendwie tue ich mich schrecklich schwer damit, „männliche“ Karten zu kreieren – irgendwie klappt das nie so ganz.

My dad turned 71 this past week. So a reason to create a Birthday Card for him. Oh how I dread it every time I try – I seem to be a little handicapped, when it comes to „male“ cards – they never really turn out the way I would like them to.

Auch dieses Jahr würde ich es wieder als einen passablen Versuch definieren, was ich dann endlich zustande gebracht habe, aber so wirklich vom Hocker gehauen hat es mich nicht. Ich hoffe, mein Vater hat sich trotzdem gefreut.

Same this year – it probably turned out okay – it was a nice try 😉 – but it still didn’t give me an „aaaaawww“ moment. I hope my dad still liked it and enjoyed it.

Der Gruß ist aus dem Stempelset „Ein duftendes Dutzend“, als Farben habe ich Wildleder, Olivgrün, Savanne, Gartengrün, Espresso und Farngrün genutzt. Die Punkte sind mit der 1/2″ Kreisstanze entstanden und die kleinen silbernen Perlen sind die „Miniklammern“.

The greeting is from the stamp set „Delightful Dozen“, as colors I used „Soft Suede“, „Old Olive“, „Crumb Cake“, „Garden Green“, „Early Espresso“, and „Pear Pizzas“. The dots were made with the 1/2 “ circle punch and I also used the little silver Minibrads.

Innen blieb die Karte natürlich auch nicht leer, sondern diente gleichzeitig als Gutschein:

Of course I didn’t keep the card empty inside but used it at the same time as a gift certificate:

Der Schriftzug „Gutschein“ kommt aus dem aktuellen Sale-A-Bration Set „Allerlei Anlässe“ und ich habe ihn mit den passenden Markern coloriert.

The „lettering“ stamp is from the current Sale-A–Bration set „Outlined Occasions“ and I used the Marvelous Markers to color it in. 

Wie das Ganze nun wirklich bei meinem Vater angekommen ist, konnte ich nicht wirklich einschätzen – der Gutschein wurde aber gleich eingelöst und von uns allen sehr genossen 🙂

How my dad finally liked the whole thing I still don’t really know – but he already used the yummy gift certificate and we all enjoyed a delicious family breakfast together. 🙂 

Ich bin ja auch wirklich ’ne dumme Nuss!

Da habe ich nun mal wieder eine Vorlage von einer Mojo-Monday Challenge für eine Karte genutzt (die Karte, die ich Euch in meinem letzten Post schon angekündigt habe), aber weil ich warten wollte, bis die Empfängerin diese auch schon erhalten hat, habe ich völlig vergessen, die Karte auf der Mojo-Monday Seite einzureichen 🙂 – Gemacht habe ich sie am letzten Donnerstag, und naja – mittlerweile ist der nächste Montag schon vorbei und eine neue Challenge wurde begonnen. Ich Dummerchen 😉

Finally I used another Mojo-Monday sketch for a birthday card and I wanted to participate in the challenge (that’s the card I already announced in my last post). BUT since I didn’t want to post it before the recipient receives it, I waited and totally forgot about it … oops. The card was made last thursday and since then another Monday happened and with that another challenge. I can be such a fool sometimes 😉

Aber das macht ja alles nichts – schön ist sie trotzdem geworden, finde ich – und deshalb sollt ihr sie jetzt wenigstens zu Gesicht bekommen 😉

But nevermind – it still turned out beautiful, as I think – and that’s why you should at least get to see it 😉

Und da das gute Stück verschickt wurde, mußte natürlich auch der Umschlag noch etwas aufgehübscht werden:

Alles Stempel sind aus dem Set „Kreative Elemente“, nur der „Gruß“ ist aus dem Set „Party This Way“.

Als Farben dienten dieses Mal „Veilchen“ und „Blauregen“ und das Hintergrundpapier sowie der Umschlag sind in Vanille Pur. Außerdem kamen mal wieder die Mini Perlen aus dem Basic Perlenschmuck zum Einsatz und mit dem Aquapainter habe ich die Ranke coloriert.

All stamps are from the set „Creative Elements“ except the sentiment – it is from the set „Party This Way“.

I used „Concord Crudh“ and „Whisteria Wonder“ as in colors and paper and in addition VeryVanilla cardstock and envelope. I also used the tiniest pearls from the basic pearls and with the Aqua Painter I colored the background a bit.

Und weil’s so schön war, hier noch einmnal eine Nahaufnahme von der Blume, die ich dreimal auf Vanille Pur Farbkarton gestempelt und in 3D-Manier zurechtgeschnippelt habe.

And since I can’t get enough of it, here a little close up of the flower. I stamped it three times on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut it so it turned into a 3D- kind of flower 😉

 

Das nächste Mal bin ich dann aber schneller, wenn ich an so einer Challenge teilnehme!

Next time I will hopefully be a little faster when taking part in a challenge!
